Australia Education Consultants (U) Ltd (“AEC Uganda”, “we”) respects your privacy and handles personal data in line with Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019. This policy explains what we collect through this website and how we use it.
What we collect
- Register form: your name, phone number, email address, postal address, date of birth, nationality, study plans, education results and work experience.
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional) and message. Contact messages are emailed to our staff and are not stored on the website.
- Technical data: basic server logs and a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, used only to block spam.
How we use it
We use your details to advise you about studying in Australia, to process your applications to universities and colleges, and to contact you about your enquiry. With your instruction, we share the relevant details with the institutions you apply to. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Registrations are kept for up to 24 months after you register unless you become our student, in which case we keep your file for as long as needed to support your studies and meet legal obligations.
Your rights

Third-party services
Our contact page shows a Google Map, and the WhatsApp chat button opens WhatsApp when you click it. These services have their own privacy policies.
